Course Modules

Full Programme Structure

Pre-Course

Mandatory Self-Study (10–12 Hours)

Module A
How AI Systems Work: A Governance Perspective

Day 1

AI Governance Foundations & Global Law (8 Hours)

Module 1
The Global AI Governance Landscape

GAICC Differentiator

Goes substantially beyond EU-only or US-centric coverage. Builds genuine multi-jurisdictional governance competency with equal depth across APAC, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

Workshop Exercise (30 min)

Extraterritorial exposure mapping: multinational AI deployment scenario spanning five jurisdictions — build a regulatory exposure matrix and phased compliance strategy.

GAICC Differentiator

Bridges the technical-governance gap that most other credentials ignore entirely. Governance professionals develop functional technical literacy to govern AI systems credibly.

Workshop Exercise (30 min)

Technical-governance risk mapping: produce a complete risk map from an AI system architecture diagram — failure modes, legal exposure vectors, and proportional controls.

GAICC Differentiator

Dedicated module on agentic AI and generative AI governance — the fastest-growing frontier of AI governance risk. Deepest coverage of any available certification.

Day 2

Applied Governance Practice & Strategic Advisory (8 Hours)

Module 6
Risk Classification & Proportional Compliance Design

Workshop Exercise (30 min)

Classify three AI systems under EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and APAC frameworks simultaneously — design proportional compliance programmes with control rationale.

GAICC Differentiator

Integrates human rights due diligence alongside technical fairness frameworks — reflecting the growing convergence of AI governance with international human rights obligations.

Tabletop Crisis Simulation (45 min)

Live simulation: unfolding AI crisis with new information arriving in stages. Teams make real-time decisions on containment, disclosure, and regulatory notification under time pressure.

Deliverable

Each participant leaves with a complete drafted AI governance policy package and core contractual clause set ready to adapt for their organisational context.

GAICC Differentiator

Equips professionals to advise C-suite and boards as strategic AI governance advisors — moving beyond compliance to strategic risk advisory and governance as competitive advantage.
